Aaron (Ari) Bornstein is a Principal AI Research Manager in the Health & Life Sciences industry. He is currently the Head of Developer Advocacy at Grid.ai, where he collaborates with the AI/ML community to solve real-world problems with game-changing technologies that are then documented, open-sourced, and shared with the rest of the world. He has a passion for technology and enjoys working with developers from universities, start-ups, Fortune 500s, and local tech communities. With over 5 years of relevant experience, Aaron has worked for various companies such as Microsoft and Deutsche Telekom. At Microsoft, he worked as a Sr. Cloud Developer in AI + Start-Up, where he developed algorithms that predict the lowest cost deployment of defensive hardware devices on a given network. He also assisted in the development of the eDare(II) network threat simulator. At Deutsche Telekom, he worked as a Software Development Intern, where he worked on backend coding for XPLOR-NIH Protein Visual Molecular Dynamics and Protein Structure Prediction Software in the Department of Computational Biosciences. Aaron holds a Masters of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, where he graduated in 2020. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Cum Laude, Honors in History, Honors in Computer Science from Goucher College, where he graduated in 2014. Additionally, he completed a Winter Session in Germany In The New Europe at the University of Tübingen in 2013 and an OSP in Computer Science, History at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2012. His tech stack includes AI, Research Scientist, ML, Azure, Mobile, Software Engineer, and Backend. Aaron is a driven individual who is always eager to learn and improve his skills. He is a great team player and enjoys collaborating with others to achieve a common goal.
